This site is provided as a public service by the
Environmental Protection Agency. It offers timely information on the
broad issues of climate change and global warming. It aims to be
accessible to all sectors and has pages tailored to specific groups,
including kids, industry, wildlife advocates, and concerned citizens.

Environment America is a federation of state-based,
citizen-funded environmental advocacy organizations. Our
professional staff in 23 staff and Washington, D.C., combines
independent research, practical ideas and tough-minded advocacy to
overcome the opposition of powerful special interest and win real
results for the environment. Environment America, the new hoe
of U.S. PIRG's environmental work draws on 30 years of success in
tackling environmental problems.

Environmental Defense Fund is a leading national nonprofit organization.
Since 1967, it has linked science, economics and law to create
innovative, equitable and cost-effective solutions to society's most
urgent environmental problems. The site offers history, current
facts, statistics and the latest news on global warming, as well as
other environmental issues.

This site from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA) has questions and answers about global warming, with many
informative links.

This fascinating site has a wide variety of interesting information on
science and environmental issues. The site changes almost daily
as it present current news articles and reports. There is a
feature story and many other headlines dealing with the issue.
Natural Resources Defense Council

NRDC is the nation's most effective environmental action organization.
It uses law, science and the support of more than 1 million members
and online activists to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places
and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.
There are "In Brief" and "In Depth" features, as well as related
links. The site can also be translated into Spanish.
Union of Concerned Scientists: Global Warming

Sponsored by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), this is an excellent
resource on global warming providing definitions, causes, impacts, and hope
for the future. Also has global warming FAQs, along with policy briefs, and scientific
information.
U.S. Global Change Research Information Office
(GCRIO) http://www.gcrio.org/
This Columbia University based site provides access to data and information on global change research
reports and related educational resources. Contains links to many
international and governmental sites. One section of the home page,
“Ask Dr. Global Change,” answers questions submitted by users.
Statistical data and bibliographies are accessible in the FAQ section.
