issues. This watchdog group keeps a record of the environmental
votes of elected officials.
Center for Health,
Environment and Justice

Center for Health, Environment and Justice was founded in 1981, by
Lois Gibbs, the community leader at Love Canal. CHEJ seeks to
help local citizens and organizations come together and take an
organized, unified stand in order to hold industry and government
accountable and work toward a healthy, sustainable future. The
site offers timely news releases and upcoming legislative action and
especially emphasizes the safety of children.

particular professor at SF State University, this site is loaded

This is an excellent site from the Environmental Justice Resource
Center at Clark Atlanta University. It offers current news
stories, hot topics, reports and articles and event listings.
The mission of the Resource Center is to serve as a research, policy
and information clearinghouse for issues related to environmental
justice.
Greenaction
for Health & Environmental Justice

Greenaction mobilizes community power to change government and
corporate policies and practices to protect health and to promote
environmental justice. The organization's Web site gives very
up-to-date information on issues of environmental justice mainly in
California, but nationally as well. It also offers information
and advice on getting involved as an activist for environmental
justice.

Environmental ethics is the discipline that studies the moral
relationship of human beings to, and also the value and moral status
of, the environment and its nonhuman contents. This site is
basically an encyclopedic entry that defines the various issues in the
field of environmental ethics with excellent and thorough data.
The history and development of this issue are also included.

environmental activists. Covers problems with radioactive gases
released from the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Hanford,
