Studies

Non-partisan, non-profit think tank devoted to research and
policy analysis of the economic, social, demographic, fiscal, and
other impacts of immigration on the United States. This site
provides information about legal/illegal immigration, immigration
history, costs, terrorism and national security, etc. from a
"...pro-immigrant, low-immigration vision which seeks fewer immigrants
but a warmer welcome for those admitted" perspective.
Federation for
American Immigration Reform (F.A.I.R.)

Site which seeks to restrict and reform immigration law.
Includes statistical information about legal and illegal immigrants.
This site also includes a section with a drop-down menu called "Immigration
Issue Centers" that covers
immigration topics of interest in depth. The "Doing Research?"
section also provides "Immigration in Your Backyard" - which
"..examines the real-life impact of mass immigration policies in each
of the 50 states."
The Impact of Immigration on the California Economy

A 2005 report by the California Regional Economies Project about
the impact of immigration on the California economy. It is a
very thorough report with charts and graphs.
Minuteman
Project

The Minuteman Project was created in 2004 by Jim Gilgrist of Aliso
Viejo, California. Its mission is to stop the flow of illegal
immigrants by monitoring the United States-Mexico border.
President Bush has referred to this group as vigilantes.
National
Immigration Forum

Pro-immigration site that "advocates and builds public support for
public policies that welcome immigrants and refugees and that are fair
and supportive to newcomers in our country."
National Network for Immigrant
and Refugee Rights (NNIRR)
http://www.nnirr.org/
Pro-immigration site which "...works to promote a just immigration and
refugee policy in the U.S. and to defend and expand the rights of all immigrants
and
refugees regardless of immigration status." Unfortunately,
there is a charge for their reports, which are available
here.
