California DUI : a Drunk Driving Law Guide

A complete source of legal information about DUI laws, penalties,
DMV driver's license suspensions, DUI/DWI lawyers, criminal courts,
blood-alcohol evidence, car insurance after a DUI, and police
investigative procedures. California DUI offers everything you
need to know if you are arrested in California for driving under the
influence of alcohol (DUI) -- sometimes referred to as "driving
while intoxicated" (DWI).
The Century Council

The Century Council is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to
fighting drunk driving and underage drinking.
America's leading distillers, such as Bacardi USA Inc., Seagrams &
Sons, etc. fund the site. It provides information about drunk driving legislation
and educational programs, including bilingual or ethnic ones. One
program, Si Toma, No Maneje, is the largest and most
comprehensive anti-drunk driving program in the country. This site also contains
information about zero tolerance. There is information for
students, parents, a media center for journalists, and links to
other resources.

This Webpage is published by Citizens Against Wrongful Arrests
(CAWA). Provides sites with opposing viewpoints about Mothers Against Drunk Driving's nationwide campaign to lower statutory look alcohol
content (BAC) level to 0.08%. This is a political agenda that
has no clear public safety benefit.

this issue. It is nicely complemented with statistical charts and
graphs. Site is provided by the State University of New York at
Potsdam.

This guide "begins by describing the problem of drunk driving and
reviewing the facts that increase its risk. It then identifies
a series of questions that can help analyze local drunk driving
problems. Finally, it reviews responses to the problem of

these [police] responses." From the Center for
Problem-Oriented Policing, an organization dedicated to evaluating
"discrete pieces of police business."

This site provides information that is useful to anyone arrested in
Los Angeles, or California for drunk driving. The information
includes DUI laws, punishment, suspension, etc.
MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)

Sponsored by the L.A. County chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving
(MADD). This site provides information such as crash and accident statistics.
