of stopping unnecessary police chases to prevent injury or death of
officers and the public. From the organization's mission
statement, "We are accomplishing this goal by education programs,

sponsoring and/or promoting legislation designed to strike an
appropriate balance between the apprehension of drivers who flee and
public safety." The site has links to recent news stories on
pursuit incidents, statistics, proposed legislation, and more.
