Archives of American Art - Quick Reference to Oral History Interviews

Contains the text of interviews of selected artists. This site includes the text of an oral history interview of Judy Baca.

Chicano Art - A Resource Guide

Provides an overview of Chicano Art in California. Contains links to Proyecto CARIDAD. This guide also includes an annotated list of material for further reading.

Public Art in Los Angeles - Los Angeles Murals

Provides links for murals organized by region.  Includes Frank Romero, Richard T. Jimenez, Eduardo Carillo, Luis Becerra.

Romo Collection of Mexican American Art Prints, 1981-
Collection of original Mexican American silkscreens, lithographs, and other are prints.  many prints were produced at Self-Help Graphics Studio in Los Angeles, CA and Coronado Studios in Austin, TX.  Several images from the collection available from the Web site.  Housed in the Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection at UT Austin [other materials about Mexican and Mexican American culture and art available at]

SPARC (Social and Public Art Resource Center)

The Web site for SPARC, a 25-year-old non-profit organization located in Venice, California. There is information about mural artists and images of murals that are concentrated in the greater Los Angeles area. The site provides a history as well as image of Willie Herron's "The Wall That Cracked Open."

A World of Art

This is the Web site developed for the PBS series, "A World of Art." The site provides a link to a biographical sketch of Judy Baca. The site also includes links to related art Web sites.
