just treatment under the law for all.” The site features the
Cannabis Research Library, and includes full-text articles on the
therapeutic potential of marijuana.

Promoting education and informed citizenship by presenting
controversial issues in a simple, nonpartisan pro-con format, this
site covers every aspect of this topic. There is no bias
presented, but rather both sides of the argument in areas ranging
from the opinions of doctors to information about specific diseases
and conditions and their relationship to the use of medical
marijuana.
The
Science

The
Science of Medical Marijuana Web site, which is sponsored by
Americans for Medical Rights, contains reports, scientific studies,
a history of the research into marijuana. Americans for Medical
Rights (AMR), sponsored the successful Proposition 215 campaign in
California in November 1996 under the name Californians for Medical
Rights.

House Office of National Drug Control Policy

This
White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) site
includes statistics, annual reports, government programs, media
anti-drug campaign materials, and comprehensive descriptions of
illegal drugs, including marijuana and its negative impact on
health, all with a strong anti drug bias.

This
report is from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and delves
heavily into the science. "As the therapeutic claims surrounding
marijuana are wide-ranging, 10 separate NIH Institutes (with
interest in the relevant areas) selected a group of eight experts
with broad experience in clinical studies and therapeutics (and none
of whom had a predetermined position on the medical utility of
marijuana) to examine the data from the published scientific
literature presented by speakers in the various therapeutic
