   1. Choose one of the following topics:
       

      1. How serious a problem is doping in sports?

      2. Should states adopt same-sex marriage laws?

      3. Is the U.S.A. Patriot Act justified or are our civil rights being eroded?
          

   2. Write down keywords and/or phrases associated with your topic.

   3. Do a few exploratory searches in WebCat using the different strategies you were shown.

   4. Look at your results. Which kind of search (and which combination of keywords) gave the most relevant results?
