To find articles on your topic, use one of the online
databases listed below. In most cases these databases
will provide
full-text articles on almost every topic. Conduct your
search in these databases by using the following subject headings and

ARTstor

Need to register
every 120 days using an on-campus computer

Copyright cleared
image database

Can create image
presentations in ARTstor
To register, click on
"GO" button

If you already
registered, please enter login and password

Perform Basic
search. Example: Frida Kahlo


You can be more
specific in Advanced search. For example you can indicate
whether in want to search:
- in any field
- in Title only
- in Creator only

Once you displayed images in ARTStore, you can select images
for your presentation by clicking once on the image.
The image will highlight yellow.
Go to Image
Groups--Save
selected images to new group.

Select
My Work Folder
and give a name to your Group.

To view images as power Point Presentation, you have to
download Offline Viewer.
Click on Tools --
Download Offline Viewer.

Once you have an
Offline Viewer (OIV)
installed, open the OIV, select
Create a new
presentation from ARTStore images.

Go to Insert --
Image Groups from ARTStore
It will ask for your authentication information
(your email and password that you registered with)
Double click on
My Work Folder
Select the group that you want to view as presentation
and click on
Download

Click on
View --
Image Palette
Presentation.
