What do I need to print or make
photocopies?
-
A COPY CARD. This is
available from a card machine on the 2nd floor of the library (next to the
copy machine).

The Printers and copiers do
NOT take coins.

A
copy card is needed for all printing and copying in the library.

How do I purchase a copy card?
-
You will need a $1 bill to
purchase a card. The card costs 50¢, and you get 50¢ of printing with the
first dollar.

Keep
the card. You only buy the copy card ONCE.
After the initial 50¢ credit
is used up, you put the card back in the machine and you can add $1.00 on to
your card in credit.

I need a dollar bill. Where can
I get change?

The Bookstore, or the Campus
Inn in the lower Quad, can provide change. Or, ask a Librarian to complete the
"Request for Change" form and you may take it to the Cashier's window
at the Administration Building.

I have a card, now how do I
print from my computer?
-
Send your internet or Word
document to print (from your computer), with the FILE/PRINT command.

Click OK.
-
Another prompt will come up
on your screen to enter 'Release key entry" This can be any word
(less than14 characters) in lower case. You must type it twice to confirm
it.

Go to the print workstation
(located in back corner of 2nd fl.), and press the ENTER key to
bring up the screen. Enter the same word (release key) you
entered at your computer. This will bring up your print job on the
screen.

Insert your print card.
Click on the print jobs you wish to print, and then click PRINT at the
bottom of the screen.

The library cannot be
responsible for lost cards.

If in doubt about directions
for the printers or copiers, ask for assistance.

The library cannot refund
copies made to your card once they are completed.

Check the settings for the
number and types of copies you request from the copier before beginning to
copy.

Ask a Reference Librarian (on
2nd floor) or a staff member at the Circulation Desk (3rd
floor.) for information and assistance In the event of a printer or copier
malfunction.
