Can I access online databases from home?
- Yes! When you are at home or at an off-campus computer, click on the
"Off campus access link" on
the home page. The Authentication screen should come up. Input your student ID
number and your birth date in mm/dd/yy format. You will then
be given access to a screen that lists all of our databases that are
available remotely.
- IMPORTANT NOTE!
This authentication service
only operates between 8:00 am in the morning and 12:00 am midnight.
If you wish to use the databases outside of those hours, you will need
to click on the word "more...'
which is under the heading Articles on the home page. You will
see a link in the little blue box. Clicking on that link will take you
to a screen where you need to input a password. Call the Reference Desk
for the password, (562) 908-3484 or (562) 463-3372.
