version for printing]
1.
What do I have to do to download something from the Internet?
You will need a flash drive or CD
Flash Drive
-
Insert the flash drive in USB port (note the
location of the flash drive : D:, E:, etc.)
-
Give your file a name (or just accept what it is
already called in the FILE NAME box).
-
In the SAVE AS TYPE box you can save the file
either as a text or as an HTML file. Text is a plain vanilla
ASCII file, HTML will preserve the look of the Web page.
Not all images will be saved, however.
-
Lastly, change the SAVE IN box at the top to the
flash drive (D:, E:, etc.). This will save the file to your
flash drive.
CD
-
Insert the CD in the DVD/CD drive (note the
location of the DVD/CD drive : D:, E:, etc.)

2.
Where can I print up my downloaded file?
-
You can print WORD and EXCEL documents from the
Library Internet Workstations. To do this you need to have a
copy card with enough credit on it to complete your job. To
determine the number of pages in your document, click on
"Print Preview" under FILE and it will show a thumbnail of
each page.

access and printing facilities, click
